Product Introduction:
DEPC-Treated Water is RNase-free, DNase-free, and protease-free ultrapure water treated with Diethyl Pyrocarbonate (DEPC) and sterilized at high temperature.
Through a special process, this product removes nucleases and other contaminants from water, effectively protecting RNA integrity and preventing degradation in nuclease-sensitive molecular biology experiments such as RNA extraction, reverse transcription, RT-PCR, and in vitro transcription. It guarantees the accuracy and reliability of experimental results.
Application Scope:
DEPC-Treated Water is mainly suitable for nuclease-sensitive molecular biology experiments involving RNA, preventing RNA degradation and ensuring experimental accuracy.
Specific Applications
1.RNA Extraction and Purification: Used as a solvent for lysis buffer preparation, elution, and other steps in the extraction of total RNA and mRNA from tissues, cells, and other samples.
2.Preparation of RNA-Related Reaction Systems: Dilution of reagents and preparation of reaction systems for experiments such as reverse transcription PCR (RT-PCR), quantitative real-time RT-PCR, RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) library construction, and in vitro transcription/translation.
3.Pretreatment of Experimental Equipment: Can be used to soak and rinse experimental consumables such as pipette tips, centrifuge tubes, and reaction tubes, or for final rinsing of glassware to remove residual RNases.
Other RNA-Related Operations: Preparation of solutions for RNA probe synthesis and Northern blot hybridization experiments, as well as short-term dilution and storage of RNA samples.
Usage Methods:
1.Preparation:Take the product out of the 4°C refrigerator and equilibrate to room temperature for 15-30 minutes before use. Wear sterile gloves and a mask during operation to avoid hand contact with the bottle mouth and interior, preventing contamination.
2.Reagent Collection:Disinfect the bottle mouth (e.g., wipe with 75% ethanol) before opening. Use sterile pipette tips and pipettes for collection. Tighten the bottle cap immediately after each use to avoid prolonged exposure of the reagent to air.
3.Experimental Applications:RNA Extraction: Dissolving RNA pellets or preparing RNA extraction-related reagents (e.g., lysis buffer, wash buffer).
4.Reverse Transcription Reaction: Serving as a solvent for the reverse transcription system to prepare reaction components such as reverse transcriptase, primers, and dNTPs.
5.RT-PCR: Preparing PCR reaction systems or diluting template RNA.
6.In Vitro Transcription: Preparing transcription reaction systems to ensure that the transcribed RNA product is not degraded.
Other Nuclease-Sensitive Experiments: Use according to the requirements of specific experimental protocols.
